LongeFera™ in Regenerive is a proprietary, patent-pending, extract of Withania somnifera root, containing the ASHX4 Complex, that has been studied in preclinical research using the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans). A second, recently published, groundbreaking preclinical study (Frontiers in Molecular Neuroscience, June 2025) on LongeFera™ with ASHX4 Complex found in Regenerive, demonstrated its remarkable potential to protect and support brain health in the face of neurodegenerative challenges. Human Study
In addition to the preclinical trials, LongeFera™ found in Regenerive has completed a landmark human clinical trial to explore how this highly standardized extract of Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha) with the ASHX4 Complex, can actively promote healthy aging in adults aged 50–70. This 180-day, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study is one of the most comprehensive human investigations ever conducted on an Ayurvedic adaptogen, assessing its impact not only on strength, mobility, cognition, and organ function, but also on skin health, quality of life, and deep molecular markers of aging.
Beyond traditional physical and biochemical measures, the trial has analyzed telomere length, inflammatory mediators, antioxidant and detoxification gene expression, and other cutting-edge biomarkers from both blood and muscle tissue—offering an unprecedented, holistic view of aging at cellular, tissue, and functional levels. By integrating centuries of traditional use with modern scientific rigor, this study has the potential to redefine how we approach longevity, resilience, and vitality—positioning LongeFera™ at the forefront of innovative, evidence-based solutions for extending healthspan. Pharmacokinetics’
Study
The LongeFera™ pharmacokinetic study was a rigorously designed, open-label, single-dose clinical trial in healthy male and female volunteers, aimed at determining how the key bioactives—Withanosides, Withanolides and ASHX4—from our standardized root extract are absorbed, distributed, metabolized, and eliminated in the body. Twelve participants (6 male, 6 female) received a precisely measured 400 mg oral dose under controlled fasting and hydration conditions, with intensive blood sampling over 24 hours and analysis using a validated, highly sensitive LC-ESI-MS/MS method.
This gold-standard pharmacokinetic profiling ensured precise measurement of parameters such as Cmax, Tmax, AUC, and half-life, while concurrent safety assessments confirmed excellent tolerability. A study of this caliber is critical for substantiating both the function and efficacy of LongeFera™, as it provides the hard pharmacological evidence necessary to optimize dosing, validate bioavailability, and support product credibility in the marketplace—bridging traditional use with modern scientific validation.
